I am absolutely in love with Bento!  I've always loved Japanese food.  Really, my earliest memories of eating it were before age 4.  The only earlier food memory I have was of eating bananas, which I started doing at before age one, and of eating fish at about age 2 or three. 


My hubby and I have been enjoying sushi and sake together for awhile now and we enjoy trying all the Japanese resturants we can find.  We've eaten Japanese food in Chicago, Knoxville, Tampa/St. Pete,   And we've been to everyone we can find in the greater Cincy area.

But bento is just so wonderful!  It combines delicious, healthy food with artistic, creative display.  Looking around a bit on the internet I have found that there is quite a bento culture.  I have decided to start my own blog: Obento, Pretty Bento (http://bentoart.livejournal.com).
